Rob was born and raised in Fayette County. He graduated from Laurel Highlands High School and Washington and Jefferson College. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton in 2010. He then served as a law clerk for three years for the Honorable Judge Nancy D. Vernon of the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas. In 2014, Rob began his career as a trial attorney in the Fayette County Office of the Public Defender, where he gained valuable trial experience defending the rights of the accused. Three years later, he became an assistant district attorney in Fayette County.

Rob was the first prosecutor in Fayette County history to obtain a jury verdict of guilty on the criminal charge of Drug Delivery Resulting in Death. Following another Drug Delivery Resulting in Death jury trial Rob tried, the offender was sentenced to serve no less than 50 nor more than 100 years incarceration. He also secured another conviction, the sentence of which was 25 to 50 years, against a violent offender who repeatedly abused young children. Rob has tried more than 100 jury trials ranging from homicide to driving under the influence.

Today, Rob enjoys helping his clients solve problems arising out of probate matters, real estate transactions and criminal charges. When he’s not at the office, you can find Rob and his wife Kristi along with their three boys, Cohen, Wyatt and Hayes at the ball field or a livestock show.
